That's when it was introduced - Apple has retained this behavior and even the iOS 15.0.2 update that went out today turned on Bluetooth for anyone who had it disabled.


Can confirm - my device rebooted right now after installing this update, and nagged me to turn on Siri and had Bluetooth reenabled.
