Good catch.

I was just about to comment on how Android and/or its apps seem to gratuitously change my Settings, e.g. auto-rotate screen or auto-brightness, and maybe it's more ubiquitous than just Apple and Bluetooth.

But that's not 2014 -- that's 2021.

That's when it was introduced - Apple has retained this behavior and even the iOS 15.0.2 update that went out today turned on Bluetooth for anyone who had it disabled.

Can confirm - my device rebooted right now after installing this update, and nagged me to turn on Siri and had Bluetooth reenabled.
