Transactions made on Amazon.com are unsecure says HDFC Bank

So I'm from India. I had signed up for AWS Lambda preview. A few days back Amazon got back to me saying that I was invited. I tried to use but, but it again asked me to join the waiting list. I called up Amazon and they told me that my account must have a valid Payment method. I tried to add my debit card and HDFC bank declined the authorizing transaction. So now I spoke to HDFC customer care about it and here is their reply:

"Dear Mr. Xxxxxx,

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

This is with reference to your e-mail regarding : "Re: 'HBL=xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx' Debit card".

Please note Amazon.com is an unsecured site hence the transactions done on this website will get declined

Warm Regards, xxxx xxxxx Customer Service Officer Customer Support Team HDFC Bank Ltd."

Is there any solution to it?
