Especially in minds of russians and other eastern-europeans, Germany has been considered a safe harbor for grey and outright illegal stuff. That was during the 2000s as far as I know. Is there an up to date german side to this story?

You can even host a Tor relay on Hetzner without issues, but if you receive a SPAM complaint, you'd better reply within the 24 hours they give you...
