From experience at IBM, it was just as terrible there.


I would never claim it was a good program, but this is actually much more common at your big companies then people would like to think. I know the Government does this in both the military and civilian workforce. Most government contracts I have worked with do this ( Lockheed Martin, SAIC, and Boeing )

I think until you have been in a big corporate environment you don't really appreciate how little they care about their workforce.
