PyPy 2.0 beta 2 released
Most Python 2 code runs on PyPy without a port anyway. It would be more helpful to focus on specific pain points like getting connected to MySQL.

you could say that most libraries run on python 3, too. the point is checking for that particular library that you need in a single place.
