This great, some of the art really amazes me. Back in my day all the nerd kids were building games in BASIC but some how

Doesn't have the same ability to "grab" you :-)


Back in my day, the nerd kids were building games in Flash, and they were generally better than these:)


Ah, but we didn't have the same tools either ;)

I imagine the ancient Egyptians would have used laser levels, micrometers and CNC machines if they had them.


All thats missing is .PNG's instead of "0123456789". Not much difference beyond that, when comparing such style of games of the 80's with similar games of the 21st Century, to be honest.


Tried a random one - with tanks - did not really work on my Nokia 620.

Generally pretty cool, but not exciting enough to face writing a complete game in JavaScript.
