Looking at that chart one might be forgiven for thinking that Win32 desktop apps...

Looking at that chart one might be forgiven for thinking that Win32 desktop apps couldn't call WinRT APIs and vice-versa. I don't recall where, but I've seen a good blog post explaining the errors and variations on that diagram. DrPizza maybe?
