Respectfully, that’s not a very functional belief. It’s sort of the equivalent to saying “communism is how mankind should operate”, while completely ignoring why communism doesn’t work: greedy, self-preserving genetic human instincts.

The workforce gives regular folks at least some marginal stake in civilization. Governments aren’t effective engines against AI. We failed to elect Andrew Yang in 2020–who was literally running on a platform of setting up a UBI tax on AI. Congress is completely corrupt and ineffectual. Trump gutting the government.

You may be right about ai taking jobs eventually if that’s what you’re saying, but you come off pretty coldly if you’re implying it’s what “should” happen because it’s Darwinian and inevitable, and just sorta “well fuck poor people.”

Not only Communism doesn't work, Capitalism doesn't work without crises and wars too. :)

Communism was never realized and what didn't work was the transitions stage between free market capitalism and communism, state capitalism. In literally every instance of communism not working, it was state capitalism that didn't work because the people who benefited from state capitalism worked to keep it in place as communism would have ended their greedy consolidation of power. This is not a flaw in communism, this is a flaw in capitalism: the inevitable hoarding of capital.
