It even loads in the full player on the website when following the url. The best I've come up with is to use youtube-dl to get the duration and if it's shorter then 60s drop the item.

I generally just use the thumbnail to quickly manually filter shorts. If the thumbnail is vertical it is 99% a short.

A few channels I subscribe to make interesting shorts so I keep them. But for everyone one else the delete key is very fast to press.
