(I am not a lawyer -- just curious ). I am seeing many companies invite workers from other countries over on a b-1 visa, and have them actually produce code inside the united states.
I understand the b-1 visa to be for business visits, and honestly the previous sentence does not sit quite right with me, but I am not sure if it is right.
Are companies allowed to invite remote, offshore workers over on b-1 visas and have them produce tangible code in line with a sprint inside the united states? It is short term in duration, and the point is collaboration in addition to producing tangible results.
