What could be a better alternative to non-stick pans?

I don't understand the question. What would be a better alternative to poisonous cookware?

It's not clear how convenience is even part of the equation. It's not their proper use, it's the manufacturing of teflon, the disposal of used cookware and use of it when scratched. What's better than non-stick cookware? Literally anything. Teflon is a scourge.

Learning to cook properly and cast iron.

plate steel or iron?

non-stick is suchs a weird concept considering you don't require it for nearly any dish, and non-stick pans get damaged very, very easily by utensils.

Cast iron perhaps? With an enamel coating?

Cast iron is better without enamel and regular seasoning IMHO.

We’ve completely transitioned to stainless steel and regular cast iron for all cooking.

Hemochromatosis is the largest genetic issue in the American population affecting millions. Iron cookware can be toxic to that population.

From what I’ve seen iron deficiency seems far more common, especially in women.

With 1 in 300 affected that's still a lot of people who can use cast iron

Regular pans?

Anodized Aluminum
