Yes, it seemed more appropriate for a kids painting app, like the paint is being 'poured' into the shape. It's probably only cool for the first couple of fills, mind you, after that it might start to get in the way.
Might be fun to have a fill that is actually slower, but is parallelized so you can continue to draw/fill other sections as it happens.
