I wasn’t that taken by this specific item - just my taste receptors - but the remainder of the website is a treasure trove highly worth exploring. The “making of”s are rich in detail.

Particularly recommended: Euclid in HTML/CSS https://www.c82.net/blog/?id=79 https://www.c82.net/work/?id=372

These are fantastic, I have a pair of pentagon diagrams framed.

This reminds me of Ernst Haeckel.

I love Haeckels work, I find it to be some of the most beautiful art out there.

Yeah that’s how they immediately struck me.

I have mixed feelings about Haeckel. He was definitely a eugenicist and his ideas may have had some influence on the birth of Nazism. So as much as I’m entranced by his very beautiful renderings of life, I’d feel a bit weird hanging a print on my wall.

Apparently Darwinism was also a huge influence on Nazism. Sometimes people get the wrong end of the stick and won't let go.

yeah I have haeckel prints on my walls... I had no idea. But then again this makes sense because Nazism was influenced by a wide range of ideas, because it took cues directly from theosophy.
