As of right now, this "press release" doesn't say anything interesting, and seems to have a "grudging" tone. Additionally, Before I changed my mind about them I'd need to see some statement that shows they understand their users concerns about SOPA and are not just flopping from an unpopular viewpoint. Sadly, I suspect the honest answer to be that they're stance is costing them money. Way too little, far too late IMO...

Indeed. If GoDaddy want to convince people they're sincere, they might try a large donation to the EFF.
