Between the full-screen Apple Music pop-ups and "suggested apps" when you search on the App Store, I think my Quest actually has less advertisements than modern iOS... The GP was saying what would happen in the future. iOS v1 and v2 had the same amount of advertisements as Quest.

I agree, all of this further emphasizes the importance of allowing third-parties to develop their own OSes on hardware they own.
