Quite the Orwellian statement.


I used to work at Symantec in 1996 and they were using the exact same sort of figures in marketing materials. An employee thought they looked odd and asked upper management during an all-hands why they were used, and someone responded that the small heads and long limbs made the bodies look tall, which inspires confidence in the viewer.


I've come to associate this style with dishonesty. Alegria was designed to elicit feelings of trust, but ironically it now is associated with firms that cannot be trusted.


Absolutely useless piece of text with absolutely no relation to the clickbaity title.

Don't waste your time reading this.

Tldr is: big corp are all using the same flat colorless person drawings style for their illustrations because it is neutral in emotion and interpretation.

The author just write thousand words to celebrate the genius of this...
