That is the main difference. I'm still sticking to iphone due to it since it was not going to be implemented where I live anyway, but switching back to google would not be a good option. Their motto was actually "don't be evil," but the shine wore off that apple pretty quick. It was dropped shortly after the dotcom explosion.
