I think the video on the DIY version page shows the extent of it. Mine came partially assembled because of some manufacturing reason, so I only had to throw in the SSD, RAM, and wifi card. Regardless, assembly should not require anything more difficult than lining up components and inserting screws.

Well, connecting tiny antenna cables is kind of a pain if you have fat clumsy fingers. But with a little patience it isn't a big deal.
