This behavior is the bug. We would prefer the pre-3.6 behavior where the address bar and search box works like a normal textbox.

That is the behavior in 3.6; I'm pointing out that the earlier version (3.6) is a upgrade from the later version (70-something?), because Mozilla is making the browser worse over time.
