I don't know if you're just being obtuse or what but there are over 500 Apple stores in 25 nations, that's not a handful. If you don't feel like visiting one, Apple offers same-day delivery for only $5 if you live near one. The product is readily available.
I'm not trying to be obtuse or anything, I'm just saying they have very few physical shops. There might be 10 in Paris for example but if you're in the rest of the country, tough luck!
Well I am double checking and I see they have shops in the top 5 cities now. Maybe things have changed for the better. Last time I tried to buy an Apple product there was simply no shop in a hundred miles radius.
