This is a nonsensical complaint. There are probably 10 topics that I am interested in, that are important to me, that nobody I know would be interested in discussing at length with me. I understand that police brutality may be an important issue to him, but coworkers not being interested in discussing it at length at work doesn’t seem like an indicator of racism or bad company culture to me.

I wonder how much the current college environment has to do with graduates ascribing things that seemingly have no connection with various “isms” to them.
