I got more intense results from intentionally shallow models such as only training on the work of a single author but then letting the shallow training run for long periods. What I got was sometimes useless but sometimes amazing stuff. It came up with a strange kind of plotline and even characters that were kind of like the source author but it was still a unique piece of work. It has its own voice that I think you lose when the model uses too many sources.
