My issue with these is they still use MicroSD cards. I basically want a Raspberry Pi with a SATA connector so I can use an actual hard drive or SSD.


You've been able to boot a Pi from USB for quite some time now, avoiding the issues with using a MicroSD card. While it isn't SATA, booting from USB still allows use of an external drive.
