Maybe a stupid question but is there a publicly hosted GitLab that provides free repo space (and the usual pay for private repos) or is it only self hosted?

Ok I didn't see that. The rest of the copy on the (particularly the pricing page) seems to indicate it's only local.

There is no pricing information there because it is free with forum support. But I agree it is confusing and made
