This is absurdly trans-coded.

Ah, todsacerdoti. ;)

I am a trans woman, yes :o

(the user who posted my blog post is not me :p)

Prediction: Amazon will end up buying HuggingFace. Screenshot this.

It couldn’t be possible for a social media feed to influence users in the direction of issues important to the Democratic Party, could it?

Or would that just be considered an unalloyed good?

I enjoy letting the air out of hype bubbles as much as the next guy, but this kind of article is an example of the OTHER side of this particular undesirable coin: needless doomerism for the purposes of attention and virtue farming. Miss me with it.

Yep. He's just repeating the same popular opinions you hear every day, and with just as much lack of reasoning and evidence to support them as every other AI doomer. He even has the same standard opinion of cryptocurrency that goes along with it. I suppose this sort of post acts as a summary of popular opinion but not as a source of useful ideas about the topic itself.

This is some grotesque blogspam. Pretty wild claims based upon rather mild comments. Apply an enormous boulder of salt if you end up reading it.

I smoked daily for years. I’m endlessly relieved that I no longer do. Quitting was like getting an almost immediate intelligence, memory, focus, and QoL boost.

You’d have to be deeply ensconced in a particular kind of bubble to hold this belief.

Speaking of bubbles...

...or you have to be deeply entrenched in another kind of bubble to believe the opposite xD

The human capacity for self-delusion will never cease to amaze me.

My heavens!

Because we don’t need to focus on getting people into government who we can trust to represent our interests as their prime duty. No, what we really want to focus on is finding MORE PEOPLE WITH DOCTORATES. Yes.

Would you say that the number of people you can trust to represent our interests as their prime duty has gone up recently?

It turns out that there are some government jobs in which it is necessary to know what the fuck you are doing.

Great engagement-building post for the author’s startup, blog, etc. Contrarian and just plausible enough.

I disagree though. There’s no good reason that careful use of this new form of tooling can’t fully respect the whole, respect structural integrity, and respect neighboring patterns.

As always, it’s not the tool.
